We hold storage auctions to sell excess stock and expired inventory. This can be from people abandoning their units or even forgetting about them. We then have to sell the contents of the unit to the highest bidder so we can make use of the unit again, freeing up the space to offer storage rentals for new customers.

Storage Giant is committed to customer service and great value, and we always ensure that our customers can enjoy the auction.

What you might find in a UK storage unit?

There have been many great finds, quirky items and pointless belongings found at storage auctions. The unknown is what makes it a fun and exciting process: storage auctions are all about playing blind. You never know what you’re going to get until you get it.

The most common items found in storage units are:

Furniture
Antiques and collectables
Homeware
Paperwork and Files

There have even been instances of storage units containing valuable antiques and even a pot of gold!
