Our Kingswinford storage units are around a 30 minute drive from Birmingham City Centre, making them a great low cost option for long term, occasional access self storage.
From the centre of Birmingham, enter onto Great Charles Street Kingsway and continue past the City Council building onto Parade / Sand Pits. Stay on the B4135 and at the Spring Hill roundabout take the second exit onto Spring Hill. Pass Birmingham City Hospital, turn right onto Heath Street and take the third exit at the roundabout onto Soho Way. Continue straight on the main road through Smethwick, driving past Galton Bridge Station Park and Ride and take the second exit at the roundabout onto Birmingham Road, remaining on the A457. You’ll pass our Oldbury Self Storage centre on your left, which offers domestic storage, commercial storage and office space, so check the latest offers and see what we can do for existing customers from other stores!
To continue on to Kingswinford, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Churchbridge and then turn right onto Portway Road. Pass Matalan and take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on Portway road. Turn right onto the A4123, pass Bury Hill Park and Tividale Park and exit left onto Birmingham Road. When you reach Dudley take a slight left onto Duncan Edwards Way and continue at the next roundabout. At Flood Street Island roundabout take the second exit to stay on Duncan Edwards Way, drive past Grazebrook Park and arrive at the next roundabout. Take the third exit to continue, pass Canal Park and take the second exit at Scotts Green Island to arrive on Kingswinford Road. At the roundabout take the second exit onto High Street, passing Russells Hall Hospital on your right, then just continue on the A4101 through Kingswinford for a mile and a half until you see the Vauxhall/Ford dealership on your right. Continue past this and you’ll spot the Grey and Orange Storage Giant store through the fence on your left. You’ll reach the entrance to Gibbons Industrial Park on your left, so turn in here and follow the road around to our store!
From Dudley
With only an eight-minute drive from Churchill Shopping Centre, our Kingswinford store is easy to access from anywhere in Dudley! Head onto Tower Street from Dudley College and turn left onto The Broadway. Pass Coronation Gardens and take the second exit at the roundabout to remain on The Broadway. Turn left onto The Parade, pass St James Church and continue straight onto Himley Road. Drive past Milking Bank Park and Barrow Hill Nature Reserve and take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on Himley Road. Take a left onto Coopers Bank Road and continue as it becomes Smithy Lane. Go straight until the roundabout to take a left using the first exit onto Tansey Green Road. Take the first right onto Dreadnought Road and follow the road onto High Street where you will come to the left turning for Gibbons Street Industrial Park and Kingswinford Storage Giant.
From Wolverhampton
From the University of Wolverhampton, you can make your journey to Kingswinford Storage Giant in under half an hour on three different routes! The fastest route is via the A449. If you begin on Stafford Street, turn left onto Ring Road St Peters and at Chapel Ash Island roundabout, take the second exit to continue on the A4150. Drive past Sainsbury’s and at the roundabout, take the third exit onto Penn Road/A449. On Penn Road pass The Royal School, continue all the way past Penn Cemetery until you come to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Stourbridge Road and remain on the A449. At the next roundabout take the second exit to stay on Stourbridge Road, drive past the Great Pool and continue straight at the roundabout onto Wolverhampton Road. As you come up to Cross pub in Kingswinford, turn left onto High Street. Pass Aldi on your left and remain on the A4101 and then take a right turn into Gibbons Industrial Park to arrive at Kingswinford Storage Giant on your left.
From Stourbridge
Heading over from Kind Edward VI College and Crown Lane, turn slightly right onto Bath Road and keep left to continue on High Street. Remain on the A491 for 3 miles while passing Trefoil Gardens, Stourbridge War Memorial Athletic Ground, and The Red and The White House Glass Cone Museums. Once you pass the Swan, in under half a mile turn right onto Manor Park and take a right onto High Street. Stay on the A4101 and follow the directions of Wolverhampton at High Street.
From Kidderminster
From the town of Kidderminster to Kingswinford Storage Giant, take the A456 and A491 through Stourbridge. To go through Stourbridge, head onto St Marys Ringway and take the second exit at the roundabout to stay on the A456. Pass St. George’s Park and take the first exit at the roundabout onto Coventry Street. Drive past St. George’s Parish Church and remain on Birmingham Road for five and a half miles while also passing Swan Pool and Webbs Garden Centre. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Kidderminster Road and turn left onto Stourbridge Road. In one mile take the second exit at the roundabout onto Hagley Road and continue for just under two miles. Pass Stourbridge College, keep left to continue on the A491 through Bath Road and High Street and follow the directions through Stourbridge. On an alternate route, you can drive via the A449.
