A huge thank you to Vin, who was incredibly helpful on check-in day. He took the time to explain the whole storage process, went through what could and couldn’t be stored, and patiently answered all of my questions, making everything really straightforward.

I’d also like to thank Ben, who was fantastic over the phone and helped me secure a storage unit at a great price. I’d left booking my student storage quite late, but he managed to help me get the last unit in the size I needed.

Storage Giant Bristol was significantly cheaper than the other companies I enquired with, and the customer service from start to finish was excellent. I’m really glad I chose them and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for student storage or storage generally.

Directions to Bristol Storage Giant

From Bristol University and Central Bristol

We’re just outside Bristol City Centre in Brislington on the Bath Road. By car from Bristol harbourside take the main road towards the Bearpit roundabout and go past Cabot Circus on your right. If you’re closer to Bristol University take Park Row past the Royal Infirmary until you reach the Bearpit. From here, go straight over then using the Through traffic lanes head south on the A4320 (St Philips Causeway) via the A4044, pass the AvonMeads Shopping Park on your left then join the Bath Road just after you cross the River Avon. Stay on the Bath Road for 2 miles until you reach Brislington Retail Park and you’ll see Storage Giant on your left, with Starbucks Coffee Shop, Greggs Bakery and Subway on the same site. We have plenty of free parking on site and our friendly team will do what they can to help you check in and unload.

If you’re coming on public transport, just outside our self storage facility on Emery Road is the local bus stop which services the 39, 178, 349, 435, 668, A4 Air Decker, SB1 and x39 Buses. We’re just 10 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads Train Station by bus and a 4 minute walk from Brislington Park and Ride.

From UWE and the North

It’s quick to get to us from the North of Bristol and the main UWE Frenchay campus, with a straightforward route which avoids City Centre traffic. You just need to join the M32 at Junction 1 and leave at Junction 3, just past IKEA. Turn left and take the A4320 south towards Bath (A4), then join the A4 just after crossing the Avon. Stay in the A4 lane and follow this through Brislington to Brislington Retail Park, and turn left after the white Subway building with a grey roof.

From the Bath and the East

From the M4, leave at junction 19 signposted Bristol (M32). Use the right or middle lane to join the M32 then you can use the directions From UWE and the North to find us. From Bath, we’re just 10 miles away on the A4 – leave the city using the A36 Bristol Road then turn right at the Globe Inn roundabout signposted (M5, M4) (M32) Bristol A4. Stay on the A4 for 6 miles as you bypass Keynsham. We’re on the right shortly after you go past the A4 Park and Ride.

From the South of Bristol

Our location on the south eastern outskirts of Bristol makes it easy to get to us from further afield in Somerset. From Wells and Shepton Mallet take the main A39/A37 North towards Bristol to get to our self storage facility in 40-45 minutes via car or van. We have a huge number of neighbouring retail parks nearby so you can make the most of the trip too.

From the West of Bristol

From Portishead and Avonmouth it’s a 30 minute journey to our self storage centre. You can stay north of the Avon and come into the city along the A4 beneath Clifton Suspension Bridge then use the right lane to head towards Bath and the A4 across Plimsoll Swingbridge and onto Brunel Way. Then follow signs to Bedminster and Temple Meads as you follow the river past Ashton Gate, cross over the river at Bedminster Bridge Roundabout then again at Temple Meads to join the A4 Bath Road. Follow the Bath Road into Brislington and you’ll find us just after the turning for Bonville Road. If you’re already south of the Avon take the A369 or B3128 and pick up directions from Brunel Way onwards. Looking for self storage further West?
