Merry Christmas from Storage Giant

Despite everything that 2020 has thrown our way, the team at Storage Giant have still managed to find plenty to celebrate and be thankful about for this year. We were unable to hold our annual Christmas meals this year, so instead we rewarded all of our amazing colleagues with a Christmas Hamper as a small gesture to say thank-you for going above and beyond this year.

As well as a mammoth effort to help keep themselves and our self-storage customers safe during the pandemic, our teams have found time to support many small businesses and entrepreneurs get set up and stay afloat in the harsh trading conditions this year. They’ve also proved dedicated and selfless in supporting local charities, the NHS and many domestic storage clients with their storage requirements in their time/s of need.

We’ve celebrated the opening of our new Bristol self-storage facility earlier this year which provides flexi office space, retail outlets and storage on the same site. On top of that, our staff have been helping charities like Alexandra’s House of Joy and Cardiff Vale and Barry Uniform Donation take on and use extra storage space after an overwhelming response from donors and beneficiaries.

Needless to say, our Christmas celebrations looked a little different this year but we’ve still managed to have visits from a few elves, reindeer and Santa’s helpers! Our teams have even perfected the visor and Christmas jumper combination whilst having fun on ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ and throughout December. We had some fantastic entries into our Christmas Jumper competition and were able to award our first, second and third placed entrants an extra day’s pay!

With plenty to look forward to in 2021 including starting work on our new Nottingham self-storage site and planned openings early in the year at Kingswinford & Oldbury, in addition to adding to our 1000+ 5 star Google reviews we’re hoping for an exciting year ahead!
