9 Awards for our Self Storage Branches

We held our Store Manager meetings earlier this month where we reviewed last years results and discussed key objectives to help provide clarity and focus for 2020.

It’s always been important for me to ensure we celebrate our successes and a key point on the agenda was to recognise the many exceptional team and individual performances from last year – 9 award winners and many more outstanding performances across the board – A massive well done to all of the award winners!

We were delighted to award several branches for the number of new customers they welcomed this year. Both our Swansea storage centre and our Cwmbran self storage store had excellent growth in 2019, with plenty of new customers making the most of our cheap storage deals. Our Cardiff storage centre team also did a remarkable job at attracting more customers in a city with intense competition, with the Cannock self storage team picking up an award for their operational compliance, ensuring high store standards and levels of efficiency to help keep our storage prices as low as possible for our customers.

Our Telford storage centre celebrated a 100% occupancy rate with Bicester and Newport not far off, with every branch receiving fantastic reviews from happy customers using our stores for domestic, business and student storage – the customer service delivered from all of our teams across the board has been outstanding and has really helped to build trust and confidence with both existing and new clients.

It was great to see individual colleagues and whole teams mentioned in our 5 star reviews, with Llanelli and Leicester self storage teams both picking up awards for their customer service.

We have a fantastic team at SG, thank-you to every colleague for their significant contribution during 2019 and here’s to an even better 2020!
